Genoa Coach Davide Ballardini is certain that his former player Giuseppe Rossi isn’t guilty of doping.
The Italian international spent the second half of last season with the Grifone, but he wasn’t offered a contract for this term.
Today it emerged that he has failed a doping test, and will have a hearing on October 1 at which he risks being banned for a year.
“I’m not certain of many things in life,” Ballardini admitted in his Press conference ahead of the Chievo game.
“One certainty I have though is that Rossi did not use banned substances.”
